Since we have speakers at every meeting it is important to support them with audio/visual equipment. We have our own projector but they may bring their own. In all cases, they must bring their own laptop. We have a remote that controls PowerPoint presentation and a laser pointer. 

  • The Chair is responsible to set up the meeting for the speaker's needs. Checks the microphones and sound system before each meeting to make sure they are on and working, connects our microphone to WPSE radio transponder. All speakers are rebrowdcast on WPSE each Friday at 12:30PM  
  • Lowers lights as needed during presentations
  • This is a critical position and requires weekly attendance or use of a substitute if unavailable. 
  • Works closely with the Program Chair to ensure that the necessary audio/video equipment and screens are set-up and working for the speaker.
