Crossing the Line: An Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Discussion

Hank is a Vietnam Veteran, Former Business Executive, Father & Grandfather and Recovering Alcoholic. For several years he has been speaking to organizations, clubs, schools, treatment centers, and meeting with individuals, sharing his personal story of alcohol addiction and recovery.

Alcohol and Drug Addiction are very serious, progressive, incurable and potentially fatal diseases. He created CROSSING THE LINE because even with his disease of alcoholism he's been a lucky guy. He hasen’t lost everything important in his life. Therefore, in retirement, he's using this opportunity to give back. He wants to try and help those, and their families, who suffer from alcohol and drug addiction.

Hank is also a Rotarian now living in Florida. He and his wife,  Peggy, graduated from Gannon University, where Hank played basketball with our own Past Club President Mel Witherspoon. Hank and Peggy spend August in Erie with friends every year and Hank will be joining us at our meetings this year. Hank has graciously offered to share his program, "Crossing the Line" with our Club.
