District 7280 Rotarians Tom Grant & Mike McElhaney

Rotary Club members in our own District not only raise money and awareness for the Rotary Foundation, some of them also do the actual work in the field for Rotary or in partnership with it.

Mike McElhaney (aka Big Mike), a member of the Kittaning Club, goes all over the world on joint Rotary International-Habitat for Humanity trips providing water and sanitation. He invites Erie Rotarians to join him on the next trip to San Lucas, Guatemala, April 25 to May 3, 2020. He will tell us about these programs and show us amazing photos of past projects and share some of the tangible objects that provide life-saving and -sustaining clean water so desperately needed in so many places.

Tom Grant and his wife Marie, members of the Zelienople Club, are long-time Ambassadors for Shelter Box. They will tell us about this work and will even bring a complete Shelter Box so we can see and touch this amazing combination of emergency supplies to help those in humanitarian disasters. Shelter Box has been nominated the past 5 years for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Rotary District #7280 Area Governor Lisa Graff will introduce Mike and Tom.
